Really?  Well, that's huge news.  Hadn't heard anyone say it was a definite.

Yeah, I was surprised that he was that definitive. He was asked what "Toronto or Philly" would have to pay for him but he didn't really answer. He got sidetracked into how crazy the off-season in Philly will be.

The Name Dropper doesn't think he will fetch all that much on the open market. I think he will get some stupid offers.

I heard that too, but it's UFA time and I can easily see him getting a $4M per contract maybe over 3 years.

Hear how he was downplaying Bière's value as a player? Calling him a "specialist." If he signs with the Wings he'll be the MVP of the free agent market.
