I withhold all judgement until details on how this unfolded come to light. I still thing the probability is quite high that he resigns here, and this was all media and agent fuelled speculation.

It would be a huge slap in the face to this franchise and city if Alfie left the Sens but I'm still confident they get a deal done.

Not that you could blame The Alfie for signing with the Hockey Megapower Red Wings. They are awarded a Stanley Cup every year, regardless of whether or not they actually win it.
