Lost in all this will be how detrimental Brandon Prust was. He took two dumb penalties and potentially cost the Habs a goal. He was completely off his game.

Again, it wasn't the goal, it was the hit. They went into the room, it hit them their teammate went to the hosptial and that was it.

I'd almost be tempted to put Pageau between Michalek and The Alfie. Maybe if things go awry here in game 1.

I'm quoting myself a lot lately. Guess I'm getting smarter. This Michalek-Pageau-The Alfie line is what they went to in the third, and they scored on one of their first shifts. They looked great together, and you can bet that they'll be together to start game 2.

I also called a 4-0 win, but I'll take 4-2.

The refs called the penalty on Gryba based on the result, not the actual play. It obviously wasn't interference, which was the call. I bet there will be no suspension.

Ottawa needs to keep playing like they did in the 3rd. Team effort.

And was the reason we won...he was just unreal.

I have no idea why Conacher doesn't play like Gallagher. He played that way in the AHL but he needs to be way more gritty and Marchand-like for him to have success.

That was nice. And even better, no time for the Habs to regroup. Losing Eller could be a very bug deal. Plekanec was their #1 but not by much. Eller's production given the ice time he had was better (yeah, playing against easier competition, sure).

You've got to have at least one center over 6' on your top two lines. Do we see Galchenyuk promoted tomorrow?

I thought he showed that in the 2nd half of the game personally.

Sens got much better when they reduced Turris's ice time.

Karlsson is not even close to 100% and makes some brutal decisions on the iceyet he still ends up with a goal and an assist. Legend.

Nothing like Gallagher. He was getting right outside the crease and Methot was getting dangerously close to getting a cross-checking penalty. Just couldn't move him. They'll figure it out -- PMac played in a time and day when they knew how to get annoying pests out of the crease. There's something to be said about a goalie stick made of wood.

Gallagher is a fantastic hockey player.
