Here's a cool fact for you all: If the Sens didn't exist, I don't think I would even be watching hockey anymore.
Just my opinion, but I think hockey is getting more boring every year. I hate this dump and chase defensive BS hockey that is winning hockey games right now. I have watched a Dung ton of Playoff hockey the past 2 years and 80% of the games are played in the neutral zone.

The worst part is when you refuse to play it, you get molasted by the Pens in 5 games

the only way you won't get that today is by increasing the ice surface. Players are just too big and most are too fast now that there just isn't any space out there.

Playoff hockey was way better 4-5 years ago. I just watched Ottawa - Buffalo from 2007 on NHL Game Center and the number of scoring chances were astounding

I guess I should have also added "...when your team is not involved". But, yes, if the skill level is high but the players make mistakes, it makes for a rodeo.

Hawks win 2-1 to take Game 1.... Kings were all over them in the 1st and up 1-0 but two quick ones by the Hawks in the 2nd turned the tide...

B's strike first... up 1-0 in the first...

Does Cooke get the Raffi Torres express?

He sure did. Boarding and got 5 and a game. Not sure if McQuaid sold that but I was a bit surprised at the game. Marchand's hit on Neal was not too different... no glass and he only got 2 min.

Gotta love the reffing these playoffs.

B's up 1-0 after 2. Bit of extra curricular after the whistle... Malkin and Bergeron drop the gloves, Crysbaby tries to goad Tuukka and barks at Chara.

Let's go!
