Shall we throw some predictions out there? Not sure if we're doing a pool... but here are my first thoughts... no "in x games", just winners.

East:
- Pens over Isles
- Sens over Habs
- Bruins over Leafs
- Rangers over Caps

West:
- Blackhawks over Wild
- Wings over Ducks
- Canucks over Sharks
- Blues over Kings

Is Mario taking him to the doctor's?

Wait, we're not playing them. Sorry, force of habit. Have to shift my trash talk to the Habs.

Spare Fleury.

I'll take a stab:

Pens
Sens
Leafs
Rags

Hawks
Ducks
Nucks
Kings

Price has struggled since Emelin went down (2-5-0, 4.38, .851 in last 7 GPI), so hopefully that trend continues. Our defense will have to be top-notch, and there's no reason to expect otherwise.

Phillips injury is believed to be his left knee. He's been our most durable player, so I wouldn't expect him to miss too much, if any time. He last had a knee injury in 2006 (left knee then too).

If he can't go, Gryba and Wiercioch will both be in.

Don't forget Benoit. He's small but fast, had 3 assists in the 4 games against the Habs and was a +3. Adding Conacher and Pageau gives us two small/fast forwards that we didn't have before. They could do very well against Montreal's D.

Fark, I was totally forgetting Benoit. I think we'd dress Wiercioch over Benoit though...and Gryba's pretty much a given.

Oh, and let's add to Andre's total because he should have had his first NHL goal against the Habs on Feb. 3 if not for a eye-cramp from the ref. So, 1-3-4 in 4 games against the Habs.

Just took a quick look, and the following Sens players have 3 points against the Habs this year: Neil, Smith, Turris, Wiercioch and Benoit. Add the disallowed goal and he's your team leader in head-to-head against the Habs.

Ugh! Karlsson just tweeted about his first round of golf. Facepalm

There's pesky, then there's cocky. And then there's this. Madame Karma, please forgive him, he's new to this twitter thing.

Secret weapons for the Sens is the new line of Conacher - Pageau - Condra. Basically dangerous every time they touch the puck, great forechecking, speedy defensive game.

Big line for us - as odd as that sounds.

Phil Kessel ducked the media yesterday... which created even more of a media issue. He's required to make himself available to the media as far as I understand. He should have just stood out there, mumbled some crap and then left. He's never been much of a talker and gives crappy interviews. Now the Toronto media are all over it, suggesting he's showing fear etc... gong show.

Interesting tweet from THN:

"Using a 2-0 point system, the @NHL standings would look EXACTLY the same, save for Det (7) & Min (8) swapping places. #LoserPointIsPointless"

https://twitter.com/TheHockeyNews/status/329233388861009920

I know sometimes things do change quite a bit when looking at different point systems. Interesting to see things barely change this year.

I thought that showed fear as well.

Heh. I'm sure he's worried. He's sucked Donkey against the B's this year. So who knows. More turmoil for the Leafs... I love it. He made it worse himself in the end.
