My favourite is when he calls Gonchar "Karlsson" and vice versa. Also, I enjoy how he always refers to us as the "Ottawa Sens".

Bobby Mac: PIT not likely to know til tomorrow afternoon if Crosby will be medically cleared to play Wed vs NYI. That's when he's to see the doctor.

All I hope for out of the Pitts/NYI is injuries to Crosby, Neal, Malkin, Letang, Fleury, Iginla, Orpik, and Morrow.

NYI is a tough matchup for the Pens because if they don't get good goaltending then the series is up for grabs. NYI can score.

That very well may happen. Besides, I think NYI has the firepower to play some road-hockey style games with the Pens. From there, it's up to Fleury or Nabokov and Fleury has been known to drop the ball.

Certainly speaks volumes about the strength of the NE/weakness of the SE when 4 of the 5 teams qualify for the playoffs.

At least the Pens have a capable backup. Vokoun can certainly carry the load if needed.

Shall we throw some predictions out there? Not sure if we're doing a pool... but here are my first thoughts... no "in x games", just winners.

East:
- Pens over Isles
- Sens over Habs
- Bruins over Leafs
- Rangers over Caps

West:
- Blackhawks over Wild
- Wings over Ducks
- Canucks over Sharks
- Blues over Kings
