Were two of them on the same play, or did I miss something?

He had a great game. It was a lot of fun to watch.

May not be today, but if he gets fired the Sens will have a lot to do with that. Extending them to 7 games last year and sweeping them this year with an AHL lineup.

Isles won. Rags lost ground for sure.

Yep, that's losing ground.

NEELY wrote:Ah yes... I see that. Point still stands though and I am not a Torts fan. Like a lot of other teams, just ride it out.

The only thing keeping him employed is the fact that his GM is going through something worse than a losing streak or missing the playoffs. Sather is not going to fire him, so who will?

Not sure why any team wouldn't sign a 25 goal, 26 year old power forward who figured out what his medical issue was and solved it. He will get a 3 year 6 million dollar deal and it will be a joke of a contract going forward.

I sure hope you're right. But has it been proven beyond doubt that it was only migraines, and those migraines were not linked to his concussion? Because he *did* have a concussion. And what about the whiplash?

He's having fun with the "kids". What's with the purple tongue?

They are not going to carry 3G heading to the playoffs. Don't think Lehner needs another Calder Cup ring. Sticky situation, for sure. Glad it's not my decision. I would probably keep all three (play Anderson and alternate the backups) and deal with it in the off-season. Anything can happen, of course, but until it does, there are not teams there desperate enough to offer what he could fetch in the off-season.

Energy drink.

He's looking better and better each game now. Perfect timing.

Well buy another couple cases, Eugene. We can start calling him Grape Ape.

I was just watching the highlights from last nights game. It's making me quite sad that we kinda have to part with Bishop. this is the kind of goaltending that we'd been dreaming of for years. now we have three. it's ridiculous if you ask me. I think I have to agree with Neely. you ask for quite a bit for Bishop, nothing short of an overpayment. his stock is steadily rising, he'll get much more then a second rounder now or in the off season. he's out there proving that someone could give him a shot at being a number 1. obviously you listen to offers but sorry GM's, price has gone up.

besides it could be pretty sick to go into the playoffs with 3 G's one gets injured and the other loses his game a little.... just saying.

Agreed. you weren't the only one who was wrong. Think another 1 year deal is in order (it's still too short a period to base a performance on IMO)

I'd have no problem signing him to a 3-year deal, if the $ is reasonable.

I'm thinking he looks for 3.5-4 million per year on a 3/4 year deal. He's damn good.

They can't deal Bishop at the deadline.

Anderson won't play against the Leafs nor at the beginning of the road trip.. which is a game against the Bruins on Apr 2nd.. Next game after that is Apr 5th.

They can't risk Anderson reinjuring that ankle and not have Bishop as a backup plan.

If you trade Bishop and Anderson gets hurt.. it leaves you Lehner.. which I'm okay with -- but with Lawson as a backup.

I can't believe that the Sens have the best GA/G average in the NHL. They have been playing without their #1 goalie for over a month.. most games they have 3 rookies on D... and they have been without their top 2 forwards.

Just an incredible job done by a fantastic coaching staff and players willing to give their all for the team...

Now beat the piss out of the Leafs tomorrow.
