The Daug barks his way to Beantown.

Could make for an awkward first round match up? Wink

The Bruins need something...maybe a little more DAUG.

All this Cowen talk probably has the rest of the media going "Oh yeah, the Sens are missing him too..."

Will be interesting to see how much ice time he gets...

Tuesday will be his first game back.

Bruce Garrioch reports that Saturday vs. the hated Leafs is a possibility for the return of The Gregger.

Daug's a depth player, so they nabbed him as cheap insurance. We broke Kelly's leg, so we pretty much made this move necessary by the Bs.

They have lots of natural centres, but are a little thin on the wing...especially since Nathan Horton is curretly invisible.

Interesting:

Just an opinion after watching Cowen scrum. He's talking like a guy that expects to play this season. #Sens

Like I was saying -- he's skating, and we've got 5 weeks to go before the playoffs start. How can he *not* be ready?

Wiercioch is playing well, I don't think he should sit, neither should Methot or Big Rig.

#1. There *will be* injuries
#2. Don't expect him to play 25 minutes against the top teams in the East. He may not be ready to play 25 minutes until we're playing a Western team Smile
#3. Wiercioch is doing great now but he will still get pushed around by the bigger teams. And we have no idea how he will handle the playoffs.
#4. There *will be* injuries.

You mean he "baaks" his way to Beantown.

Good for him. He'll put Chara and Lucic in their places. Those guys are too tense and serious, not having any fun at all.

That'd be neat if Cowen is ready...it'll be interesting to see how much he gets used though, with all our lefties playing well.

Dress 7 D and use him primarily on the PK. We could use a bit of help back there (regardless of what our stats say).

I hope he continues his tradition of barking when he scored...that always cracked me up. Truly, I'm disappointed he's gone, but I guess there wasn't much choice. Wouldn't have minded seeing Regin hit waivers instead.

He scored twice -- and I'm not sure he barked when he scored the winner against Lundqvist.

Depth move, after next week the 23 man roster limit is expanded and when the Bruins have a fairly healthy lineup he won't be playing a second. Good for the Bruins IMO, a guy that can come in and play 8-10 mins and not cost your team.

Depth move and nothing more.
