I don't know. I like Daug, he can actually score from time to time. he plays fairly well in many situation brings good energy. I'm surprised at this. I thought he could even be moved as part of a trade.

you'd think... All you can really say is that this is a useful player, certainly a solid PKer, that seems to bring some good vibes along for the ride. Would suck to lose him but you can't really say there's anything extraordinary about him as a player.

well no he isn't an extraordinary player but a guy who is solid on the PK, that can score once in a while from the 3rd or 4rth line and brings good energy. you'd think might be interesting as part of a bigger deal. there's lots of teams with bad PK, i mean it's probably their system also but you'd think daug has some value.
to me this kind of smells like there might be a trade coming.

Most teams have "useful" players like K-Daug. We just like him so much because he's a part of our team. How many guys like him have already gone through waivers unmolested?

to many bodies being moved around. might be calling up Hoffman if he's ready but still. sounds funny to me.

Both of these guys can be sent down, and we can still ice a full lineup, so it doesn't mean a trade is imminent.

Did this really happen? Daug is one of the most popular guys in the locker room by every single account. I'm stunned that Murray and MacLean didn't keep him around basically just for that. Not to mention that he can actually play, so if they need to dress him he won't hurt us.
