I don't think any of them are really "untouchable" if the right deal comes along. They might keep em all though and deal their pick this year, since it could likely end up being a top-5 pick.

Alfie one point away from 1,100 career points...

Impressive.

#11 goes for 1100.

Make it happen tonight, and make it the game winner... yes.

I'm officially on the Fleischmann train. No getting off either... he's a move that makes sense now.

That's what everyone thought they'd do last year. Yak seems the most replaceable of them all and they were more willing to trade his pick.

Plus teams should target him before they ruin him for good lol.

Well one thing is for sure, Sens are going to have to spend some money now

Without Karlsson he gets 20ish points. Guy was awful.

Lol, so nothing substantial from your end, just what ifs, guesses, and an totally ignorant opinion? Gotcha.
Same substantiation as you, watching and evaluating. Just a difference of opinions, except my opinion is the right one. Cheers

Yup. 15 years in the NHL... awful player. Good call. Way to back it up with... well nothing.
If you can't see it, then I can't help you. Have you watched him this year, he is a total disaster again, although I generally fall asleep half way through any Panthers games so he may finish strong.

What does this year have to do with 3 of 4 solid seasons in Ottawa? I can answer that, absolutely nothing.

Try helping yourself before you try helping anyone else.

i'm a little loss as to what the sens might have to do next. it's great to day dream about prying someone off Edmonton's team but tambelini is somehow convinced that he won't have to trade any of his young guns to help build his team. so even yakupov seems unlikely.

someone was talking stewart off st-louis? that could be an interesting option.
but they'll want Cowen....
i wish there was a way to trade for loui ericksson.
I guess Nathan Horton might hit FA. but he's not worth the bidding war if it goes to high. and from what i heard Semin might stay in carolina.

Facepalm

Trading Cowen in a package for Stewart would be a no brainer but St.Louis won't be trading him anytime soon.

A deal for Stewart you start with Cowen and a 1st... then add Greening. That probably lands him if St.Louis decides they don't want to use the 34 million in cap space they have next year, lol.

Giving Semin a long-term contract would be risky, I think.

The nice thing about the injuries this year for us, is that it's given the Murrays (and other teams) a real chance to evaluate what we have. This opens the door for trading a guy like Cowen, or has upped the value of guys like Gryba/Weircioch/Benoit/Z-Bad/etc, if any of them were to be used in a trade.

So the Perry door has closed on us, but there are still a ton of options available, and we still have all the cap space in the world to do whatever we want with.

We're pretty much the best-positioned team to make advantageous moves heading into next season.

Not sure who, but hopefully a left handed shot

Spezza
Turris
Zibanejad
Silfverberg
Alfie

Even Mark Stone and Noesen are righties
That's a lot of RH shots for top 6 options.
Maybe re-signing Latendresse and hoping for Michalek to stay healthy is the way to go.

If you could make the deal Eberle for Bishop and Cowen, do yo do it? Then turn around and sign Smid who Murray has tried to get a few times already?

On another note though... Hemsky might happen.
Out of all Edmonton's "Young Guns" I think Eberle would be the last one they let go of. Hemsky is probably available for a reasonable return, although who knows with Tambalony.

That's why Fleischmann is such a good option. There is a legit top 6 guy, LW LHS, signed for 2 more years, and is not even close to being on the back 9. You may not have to give up a ton for him either because any team that's willing to trade for Fleischmann probably doesn't have the cap space going forward.

Keep in mind, this is a guy Detroit liked enough to draft and had to move in the deal for Lang way back. IMO that's the kind of move that makes sense and it may only cost Bishop to get him.

Hemsky is the most likely target out of Edmonton, I would agree. Hard to say what the asking price could be, other than it would include a d-man.

yeah they're pretty clear up there with saying Eberle isn't going anywhere. I think that's just wishful thinking to think we might be able to get one. I do not want hemsky unless the price is ridiculously low.

I'm not sure Florida would want to turf Fleischmann...He's still a young man at 28.
