Yup, he was fantastic.

Turris was named the week's 2nd star with 6 points in 4 games.

good time for Turris to get his game going. if we could keep it going like this and everyone find their scoring touch it be great heading into the playoffs.

Offense came to life when Michalek and Latendresse came back. It should be something to see when we have both in the lineup and/or Spezza.

Latendresse isn't getting the love he should be right now. He's an extremely smart player and while he isn't the fastest guy on the planet he gets to where he needs to be.

Pretty obvious how Murray and MacLean are building the team at this point. They play guys who know there job and don't do anything else besides that. "This is why you're here, do it and we'll win". It's worked.

He is a big guy who goes to the net (among other things). Top line has Michalek, 2nd line has Lats. He ain't going anywhere until some prospect can replace that.

They want at least one tough winger who will go the net always, this ain't the Oilers

Latendresse has been front and center for a lot of goals the last week, just makes things that much harder for teams in their own zone. This is a guy that is showing his worth right now and exactly they reason they could deal Foligno.

plus barring he goes mad and scores a goal a game he's not shown he can stay healthy so i doubt his salary goes up by much next year.

Landresse is known for slow starts, and that was cautioned this year. The injuries just slowed it down even more I guess. Hopefully he's ramping up to be hot just in time for playoffs.

Like I said at the beginning of the year, you don't need him to score 10 in the first 20 games, you need him to score 10 in the last 20. Looks like that might be the case. Next year a 2nd line of Latendresse/Turris/Alfi would be deadly. Hopefully the 3rd line with Zibabenajd and Silfverberg and get some sort of play making winger to go along with him... *cough" Briere *cough*

might be looking for a little bit more term. but I imagine he's gotta be thinking that with this team doing so well with so many players out if they do bring him back he'll have a chance to have a much better season and get a better contract after that.

His problems were not concussions, they were migrains so saying he won't stay healthy is totally inaccurate. Yah, he could get injured but it won't be because of an off and on head injury.

I wish I could find those 4 year old threads when I used to defend Bryan Murray night and day while he was getting bashed left and right. Or maybe it was during the hockeybuzz days?

Dammit Latendresse appears to be a pending UFA I guess he hit targets to qualify. That sucks

I swear you said before "It's a concussion, lol" or something to that effect when they were calling it other things.
