There's not much of a market for Bishop it seems. Bernier has been on the market since offseason as well and nothing has happened. Most teams can try out one of their goalie prospects for free rather than trade for Bishop.
Don't forget Luongo/Schneider on the market as well.

Alfi would be about 3 mil if I had to guess but yah, there will be guys going out the door for sure in Regin and Daugavins which would is more than 1/2 of Briere's salary next year and the same amount as his salary the year after.

They have to add a minimum of 5-6 mil anyways... hopefully Murray can convince him to spend.

Yeah but Bishop has been front and center a lot this year. A lot of teams in the East getting goooood, long looks. Philly for one.

They can scout Western teams too, Bernier has been playing pretty well I think. Really depends on the asking price. Vancouver wants a lot for Lu or Schneider (who haven't been all that good) so they are stuck for a while.

Bernier is going to cost a ton... don't think LA settles for anything less than a 1st rounder for him. Bishop is probably a guy that can be had for a player like Briere or a 2nd rounder plus.

Not sure a young goalie can net that much, Halak came off a legendary playoff performance and look what he got. Bernier gets limited play time behind Quick. I think he is playing more now but still.

I'm tempted to say I'd suck my own Wang if he gets dealt for Bishop, but I'll refrain just in case. 99.9% chance against it.

The goalie market is impossible to judge right now, since no goalies have moved. We need a couple key injuries to #1 goalies to get things moving!

Probably the ones that suck, I dunno. Not recently, that's for sure, not the way the Murrays and Dorion draft and sign college players.

I might be missing something, but what's not to like about a 6'2", 200 pound, right handed D-man who drops the mitts, plays a physical game and has put up ~45 points per year until this year where he's putting up 70 (as an overager, I get that)?
