The thing with Briere is he has 3 kids going to school in Philly, and doesn't want to move them. Maybe that changes in the off-season, but guys like Bob McKenzie have maintained that Briere will NOT waive his NTC.

Devils @ Flyers tonight... Devils are 1 point behind us. Hopefully the Flyers can do us a solid. The bottom 4 spots in the East are wicked tight at the moment. We need some distance.

Yah, I can't see him being traded in season, this would for sure be an offseason move for the Flyers if it does indeed pop up. That's the life for a professional athlete though and it's part of the job.

Regin is done it seems, wouldn't be surprised if he was on waivers by the end of next week or closer to when Spezza returns.

He looks a lot better than he did at the start of the year. If he finishes the year strong I wonder if they'll sign him for another year to see if he can play a complete season. He have no LHS top-6 prospects except Puempel(I believe). Then there is Michalek but who knows how long his knees can keep going.

I think they'll try to trade him for a depth AHL player because we've taken so many of them, but yes, it appears his days are numbered here.

I think they're probably gonna make him an offer at least. It's only his health, he's a pretty solid player IMO. A little slow, but he doesn't lack effort.
