Lehner is awful at shoot outs, he seems to freeze up.

Ugh, you know the difference between being a contender and being 5, 6th place team is frigging Spezza and Karlsson. Grinded out another point and a good effort... just man wish they could win one against the Bruins.

Has to get used to NHL shooters and study them a little. Will take time. Anderson was 0-3 last time he was in one.

Yup. Never thought there was anything wrong with a tie but the NHL head office loves it so, won't be changing any time soon.

She hot?

OK, I'll make your day. Yes.

The young undermanned team without it's best goalie and two of it's best forwards and 2 of it's best D.. went toe to toe with a big, bad, healthy Bruins team and managed to get a point.

2 games against the Bruins so far.. and 2 pts..

The Sens gave them everything they could handle.

I'm proud of this team.

Fix the PP -- that's a given.. could have made a difference tonight if they could score..

I thought the Sens did a fantastic job. Were *by far* the better team in the first until that stupid 2+2+5+10 took the wheels off. Don't want to carp on the refs, but they weren't going to call a penalty on that play and, frankly, I don't think Neil was hurt. He's been doing that (Ovechkin's "spear" for example). Could have been interference since he had not touched the puck. Whatever. If he gets right back up then Wiercioch doesn't go stupid and they continue. I really don't want to say Neil cost them the momentum and the game, but on the other hand I really want to say it.

Loved Daugavins' move in the SO. Can't blame the loss on him. Silfverberg missed by a mile and Alfie tried the fore-hand-to-backhand move when he was way too far over to the left -- that move works if you are in the center and the goalie has to move, but doesn't know which way (coming in way left like that the better move would have been to go across to the right, make Rask move across and open his legs, then either slide it along the ice or shoot it back across Rask to the far top corner. Oh, and Lehner go schooled on the winner.

Got a point, though. And there's no way anyone in the league thought they had a chance.

PP could use a little #19 and a little #65. But you're right, they are .500 against the Bruins (even though they are 1.00 against us) and I'll take that even in a first round match up.

I there was one thing I was disappointed about, is that we were 50/50 on face offs before Kelly went down (Kelly was 80% or something ridiculous) and then they couldn't seem to be able to win another important face off the rest of the way.

One thing I'm sure everyone has noticed is how much winning faceoffs matter, especially important ones in the defensive zone and on the PP in the offensive zone. Montreal is amazing at always winning key draws and Bergeron and Krejci are on Boston as well - and that really changes the entire gameplan at times.

Second, Chara is still one of the best in the game, but I've seen him turn pucks over in important areas a lot more this year than I ever had. Don't get me wrong, he's still disgustingly good, but he's lost a tiny step IMO.

How sweet would it have been if Daug had used that stupid move to bring the puck in, then lifted it at the last second. Rask was covering the ice. Would have caught him off-guard.

He must feel like an idiot right now for trying something so ballsy and failing. Facepalm
