Big game again. Toronto was what felt like a must win, this one I'd be happy with a point

Bishop is gonna get lit up by Montreal. Bad move.

Meh, we'll see. He's been pretty solid and this knocks off another game on the RFA status thing. Also, he's the guy that the Sens will be rolling with in the NHL behind Anderson the rest of the way this year so probably good to give him the confidence of the team and coaches. I would have started Lehner but no problem starting Bishop.

MacLean is going to roll with Bishop until he falters. It'd be unfair (and totally not like PMac) to go with Lehner simply because Bishop isn't in our future plans.

I think he deserves a chance to show that he can do it.

Maybe Pmac is learning to stay the course with a winning lineup instead of making a change (see replacing mark stone with Jakob Silfverberg in game 6). I would have loved to see Lehner play tonight (I still wish he was). Arrgh! Dammit!

Wonder if Anderson is ready for the bruins on thursday....

Is he tweeting from the future again? More like they will be on the ice in two hours and a bit. Lehner. Book it.

Unbook it.

I guess he's saving Lehner for Boston. I've stayed out of most of that talk about sitting JOB or playing ZBad, but I'll go on record here that I'm questioning this move. Would not only prefer, but expected, that Lehner would be playing. Will be happy to be proven wrong, though.

Wouldn't say its completely unlike Pmac....he replaced a hot mark stone with silfverberg in the playoffs to boot. But this could just be a case of learning and adapting. Bishop better bring it! that first goal against toronto was terrible

I think Grabovski's goal deflected in off Gonchar, was that Bishop's fault? I think the second goal was worse, why did he stand and open up his 5-hole in a goalmouth scramble ? Paddle down !

Stone set up Spezza's GWG in that game but otherwise he was invisible, don't know if that qualifies as hot. Silfverberg is our top forward prospect, the Murrays probably have posters of him in every room of their house.

Bishop is offically the backup and it should be his job to lose. You don't want to demoralize him by flat out stating he's only here until we trade him because Lehner is "our guy", even though we all know that is the case.

I say give him a chance, Lehner WILL play here eventually. I tink Bishop will get better as he plays more. He was awful when he arrived in Bingo during the lockout but he got much better as he played more.

PMac will probably stay with the same crew as the Leafs game.

Didn't look like a deflection to me. Stone wasn't given that much ice time but when he was he made it count on GWG. Most people admit that goal from spezza was all due to Stone's vision. And then the old addage, why make changes to a winning lineup? Anyways even Pmac has admitted that perhaps that was a mistake so it's good to see he's adjusting.

Also I've learned to trust Mcstache this season. Everyone said starting Anderson in season opener wasn't good, and he proved us wrong. I'm okay with Bishop starting (and yes he deserves it) but I had my heart set on Lehner Crying

I'm good with Bishop starting. Considering our circumstances, he's our starter at the moment and until he craps the bed or needs a rest, it's him.

I don't give a toss about who we start as long as we win! Sarcasm

I'm sure lehner gets his chance soon enough. has there been any news about Andersson's ankle in the last few days? it's still unclear wether this is a couple games out or a few weeks.
