Anderson might get traded to clear salary for Perry for example.

That would be beyond ballsy... could also be the right move.

Would be a temporary reprieve as Lehner has 1 year left on his ELC and he'd get similar money.

They're not trading ANderson unless Lehner steals the show for at least one full season. Murray is not stupid

Dont think so either and he's come out and said he has never had goaltending like he does today.

again, with Perry it has to be a signed and traded. i was reading that anaheim might get him signed to an 8 year deal in order to trade him allowing that 8th year to soften the cap hit. I'm not sure how much they think they can soften it up but it seam a mess of a an idea to get that deal done. also does he ask for a NTC in order to control his destiny?

The NTC wouldn't kick in until his new contract starts, he doesn't have an NTC right now.

A sign and trade makes the most sense for Anaheim however Perry does not have to agree to it, he can just wait til July. He might not want to decide where he wants to go right now.

He'd have the most choice in the summer so unless he is dead set on a team right now it won't happen.

Anaheim will trade him for whatever by the deadline I think.

I'm no hockey player so i'm not sure what it's like an don't know if some players are dead set on playing for a certain team. In woud be an amazing coup to swipe him but I don't think I want to give up any assets in nabbing him unless he comes signed.
my guess is he'll test the FA market this summer.

No kidding. Especially when there's no reason.

Bishop is the guy going for sure, don't think anyone really questions that.

From P-Mac's radio interview this morning:

- He didn't mind K-Daug's shootout attempt. He said K-Daug's Latvian, so he's partially crazy anyways. For some reason, there was no discussion about why K-Daug has been selected for a couple of shootouts.

- He was happy with the effort against the Bruins: "A lot of patience and focus." "Played well enough to win, happy to get a point."

- Happy with Latendresse's effort and how Turris has played. Said Turris may have had a scoring drought, but he's been playing really well defensively.

Personal note: Lloyd and York are terrible interviewers. Really bland, boring questions. HEY LET'S TALK ABOUT INJURIES AGAIN! Pfft.

- On upcoming lengthy road trip: "We'll come home when we can; we won't just stay on the road for the sake of staying on the road."

- He likes the leadership on the team. He likes what Wiercioch did last night, despite the penalties that ensued.
