f the laffs

Let's give them 2 points now, so that when they eventually fall they won't fall too much further than 9th.

It's funny, we're on a Sens forum and none of us really talk about how good Da Costa looks.

I'm too busy being pissed that he plays 7 mins. a game.

Buried under work.

But my two cents on this situation: Ottawa might spend the next 35 games trapped in its own end, unable to clear the zone. Seriously.

On the flip side, this is a great chance to see what we have in some of our young guys, Wiercioch especially. He's going to be the guy who's going to get the first chance to get more ice time, more prime offensive minutes, and more PP time.

I do think it highly likely that we'll sell off a young guy to try to bring in someone like ROR, tho'. I can see us pursuing him hard, if we're not too afraid of his contract demands. Moving Bishop for a young-ish D before too long is probably in the cards, too. Guess we'll see.

This is the perfect time to do what the Blue Jays did - ie trade some of the prospects + young players for young, solid NHLers with tremendous upside.

ROR, Yandle, the list is long of guys that are out there. We'll see what happens.

The Blue Jays waited till the season was over to do that. 3/4 of the season still to go, not at all the same situation so you cannot say this is the perfect time to do the same.

Aside from the shift where Gryba was basically directly responsible for the goal, the D has looked excellent, especially Gryba, Benoit and Lundin (first time I've thought he's looked comfortable).

This is only good for the Sens and the future of this team. They can all play the game it seems.

Relly liked DD so far and Gryba has been solid.

You'd have to wait for the trade deadline and then teams out of playoff picture may do that. But right now ? Not a chance.

Depends on the prospect. Knowing Murray he's offering Petersson around the league.
