If Columbus offers up LA's 1st and a prospect for Anderson, do you take it?
Why would Columbus give up that much for Andy ? They suck even with a good goalie and they'd have to get rid of Bobrovsky or Mason whom no one will take.
Jarmo will be building long term there just like we are. He's gonna use those 3 1st rounders.
Because no matter what your team looks like you need a goaltender. Columbus doesn't have one that can cover up for the mistakes of a really young team like Anderson has for Ottawa. Lehner is ready, he deserves the shot and Bishop will be right there to push him.

Well I'm not getting into this again with you. All I will say is I always wanted Lehner to steal Anderson's job not have it handed to him.

Dude the season is over, IF we get some very good pieces coming back you have to consider it. It is also a very good time to give Lehner a lot of NHL games.

No goalie on earth can steal Anderson's job right now. I'll ask again, if Columbus offers up LA's 1st and Erxion do you trade Anderson?

Andy will come down to earth at some point. His numbers are unsustainable.
And what's Erixon ? I just know about his dad, he can't make the Rangers or the Jackets roster.
LAs first might not be much as I don't think they'll be this bad at season's end.
What are the chances Erixon or LA 1st will net us a player that will have as much impact on the team like Anderson does ?LeKing wrote:

Depends on what the offers are I suppose but I still don't feel good going in with 2 rookie goalies next year. Almost every team out there has 1 vet.

Achilles take about a year to recover from. Best I have ever heard of was 9 months, worst is about 14 months.NEELY wrote:Oglethorpe wrote:Karlsson will likely be out until at least the Olympics. What's that based on?

Lehner is an NHL goalie man. He's the AHL MVP and the best player not in the NHL. He deserves the net. As for Anderson if you can get a kings ransom for him it might not be the worst idea.
Mind you that is for a rupture, a laceration may be different, so I may have jumped the gun.Oglethorpe wrote:Achilles take about a year to recover from. Can't steal the job when you are in the minors. Only reason he is there is because there are 2 one way contracts on the roster.Hoags wrote:NEELY wrote:

Sure if you can get a king's ransom then I'd move anyone(except EK of course).
I still think he should steal the job. Even you always said if prospects want to make the Sens, they need to outplay someone else and take their job. Internal competition and all that.
