They showed him on the bench rubbing his left shoulder and talking to the trainer.

He's not an effective NHL player at this point. This will be his last year in Ottawa, don't think there is much question about that. Opens up a spot for a rookie next season.

That's a cliche game. Literally you can't win every night and sometimes you don't finish. They'll be ready for Sunday.

And Regin - either you play him on the wing, or you scratch him and try Da Costa. He's not creating anything as a C.

Regin can't play on that top line, no way. They need a play maker on the PP too and I think that might be Da Costa might be that guy. No doubt he is next in line.

Not the top line, no. Maybe with Silfverberg and Zibanejad, but why not just call up Da Costa to C those two. No doubt there's some built in chemistry to boot. Not sure I'd scratch Regin, but I'm not sure there's anyone else to take out of that lineup, they're all playing well - especially Condra/O'Brien IMO.

He needs to play LW. This C idea isn't working. We all know he has talent, but this is literally the Dung or get off the pot time of his Senator career.
