I didn't think he'd dress Da Costa without at least one practice. I think tomorrow could be a big test for Regin, Daugavins etc., someone better step up. Or I could be wrong and he's scratching one of them. There's really no other options than Regin or Daugavins though IMO, everyone else is playing really well.

Something to talk about I guess and it does seem Perry is making his way out the door. If somehow he does bring in Perry you can bet the 1st rounder and Stone are out the door.

We're on a budget still ? When will we have enough quarters in the piggybank for Perry ?

They need to reach the floor next year so they will be giving someone money no matter what. Could be Perry, could be Wiess, could be someone through trade.

If he was re-signed? Yeah, it would require for Murray (Bob) to have no brain. As much as I may not be a Perry fan, Michalek is not the same player he was (speedwise) before all those injuries, and speed is, unfortunately, a huge part of his game. He is also very streaky -- in fact, I'd say he is more of a 2nd line player right now than a top-liner.

The thing I hate about MIchalek is: when was the last time you said to yourself: what an amazing pass by Michalek. Players on the top line should be able to create chances also, not just score goals. That's how the Rangers easily shut him down.
