PK Subban told us there is no timetable set for when he will play his first game. Would like to get some practices in with the full team.

Center depth is great right now.

It's amazing how different this team would look if we still had Rundblad but didn't have Turris. Smith on the top line? ZBad? O'Brien? I have no idea how that would shake out, but it'd be ugly.

Yah it really would. Loved the Rundblad trade when it happened, love it more now. The Sens have a chance each night with or without Spezza but you just hope Turris can evolve a little more and become a 1B type center.

He isn't far off.

Yeah, he's been excellent. He wasn't great last night, but he's been the guy we always wanted. A solid 2C who can play 1C if need be.

He isn't far off.

Getting there and this is the time to prove or at least develop into one. He's been solid.

I thought he was good. He was buzzing a lot around the net and seems to have that sixth sense that puts him where he needs to be throughout the game. I liked his game, though I didn't like most players not on the 4th line and not Methot (who I thought was quietly solid).

from the small sample size that I've been able to watch I'd say he's well on his way. this season will provide ample opportunities to perform at a higher level. lot's of tough match-ups coming up.

The good thing is he got better as the game went on, but at the beginning he, like everyone else mostly, looked lost.

Turris is getting better and let's be honest, Alfie is nearly done and latendresse is useless right now. Once he gets some good wingers he will be better.
He admitted he had a bad game last night and I love hearing that kind of thing from someone who is PPG

Ya, I've deleted the first half of the game from my memory banks.

Just a reminder...the game is a 7pm EST start (thank god) and it's on TSN! No seemingly-getting-worse-by-the-game Dean Brown/Denis Potvin combo!

What do you have against Brown? If not for him, you'd never know when a player's shot missed on the low side. Laugh1

Brown actually doesn't annoy me very much...I like his call. I find he's dragged down by Potvin more often than not though. It's like he doesn't know what to do with Denis...and I don't blame him.

Potvin is the worst colour man in the NHL but the guy knows what he's talking about in terms of on ice play, he just doesn't know who any of the players are. I give respect to the a guy that has 4 cups, Norris Trophies, and considered one of the best players to ever play the game, I just can't stand listening to him.

If Denis Potvin wasn't already in the Hall of Fame, he'd go in as a broadcaster. Fact.

lol, Alfie isn't close to being done. He's not in game shape yet, but he's not done.
