I don't think PK will play tonight. Apparently he was joining the team today, so I doubt he gets in the lineup that fast.

Bet you he gets in on Sunday. Either way, he's there and it's a total distraction tonight for the Habs along with playing Budja... no reason the Sens don't win this short of having no energy which might be the case.

When was the last time Budja played in a game? He should be beyond rusty and they need to get it to the net tonight and just bang at pucks, they do that they will be successful.

Any update on Spezza?

Apparently the skate this morning is optional...no mention of Spezza being out there yet.

No Spezza out for the skate...I'm guessing he doesn't play tonight.

Hopefully he stays off the ice today... team should have lots of jump after last night or at least more than they came out with against the Caps. Getting through the next 3 games with 3 points or better would be great and all that can really be expected right now. After that, everyone should be rested up and things should start to click.

Tonight if they somehow pull out a win then fantastic, that's better than anyone could hope for on a back to back having your #1 center out and the flu going around.

Gonna be hard to judge who's in or out with an optional skate. Will have to wait for PMac presser.

Sounds like Daugavins comes in for Latendresse.

No reason why this doesn't happen.
ottawa:back to back - no Spezza
Montreal: back to back - the Budaj factor

edge: Ottawa - the Andersson effect.

Jason Spezza is still being evaluated. Not playing tonight. Anderson starts

Karlsson will be better as well I would think. You just hope these guys can find enough energy to stay level with the Habs for the entire game. This game will be sloppy and could very well be high scoring. Anderson has to be at his best (again), tonight.

Heard from a someone he flew out to see a specialist. Not sure what it is but he's not even in Ottawa.

BooBoo: Coach Paul MacLean says waiting on evaluation before knowing how long Spezza could be out. Extended period hasn't been ruled out. #Sens

EEK!

Sounds like it, interesting. He's not at game speed, so I guess this is for the best.

Daniel Slater: No Jason Spezza tonight. Other changes (if any) will be determined after warmup. Anderson to start.

PMac confirmed Zib line will play together again.

Yeah, the news on Spezza isn't great. This is what could've derailed us last year, and could have an even bigger impact on a shortened season. Boooourns.

Thank God Murray made that move for Turris. Hopefully they can get by tonight without Spezza and get a point out of it. They will need a full effort and def need to roll 4 lines. Hoping the Habs are a little beat up and tired after last night.

Center depth is great right now.
