Could have used a big save from bishop but this was just a very sloppy game by the defenceman. Blowing a 2 goal lead is pretty bad. And let me just say.....phillips was awful today

No one could make Auld look good. Bishop was awful tonight and Murray should take the first offer he gets to get Lehner up and backing up Anderson. Hard to justify Lehner not being in Ottawa at this point.

To be expected from a vet on his first back to back, not having played anywhere during the lockout. Would have been nice to take a point but it is what it is. Come back on Sunday and beat the Pens who are struggling big time.

Yah he does, that whole first line looks... weird. Not sure what's going on there but they need to find some chemistry. Silfverberg has had his up and downs but he isn't getting the job done and he isn't producing.

9mm looked like he was out of gas or nursing an injury... didn't seem in the game at all. Not Silf's greatest... he was benched for a while in the 2nd.

Yup, hopefully for Bishop it was just a matter of shaking off the rust but if Murray can move him for a 2nd rounder or better right now, he should be doing it. Get the guy who deserve the backup role in there, Lehner. Not like people don't know who the better goaltender is.

That 2nd half of the Florida trip is so tough. Most teams don't take 2 wins out of there. 2-1 on the road, 1-0 at home, great start to the year. Time to put it to the Pens on Sunday night, they should be a little tired coming back from Winnipeg, seem to be out of gas as well.

Bah! At least Karlsson got a goal. Spezza, too. I got home just after Malone tied it up. I got to watch the last 7 minutes or so. They looked slow.

For sunday, obviously Andy gets back in. I'm guessing weircioch gets in for benoit as well.

Bishop will come around but yeah clearly lehner is >>> bishop. At this point a 2nd is the best they can hope for straight up for bishop
