Didn't think it was that bad. Couple of bad plays, some non-calls by the refs and a questionable one against the Sens.

How 'bout Gilroy, eh? Couple of big blocks and a goal.

NJ is owning us man. I think the Sens are trying but they can't seem to break the trap. NJ is skating circles in our zone in the 2nd

We own Brodeur with two questionable goals now.

5-on-1 should always end up as a goal. What a terrible breakdown by the Sens.

2-2

Second 5-on-1 this season.

Embarrassing. 5-on-1 goal by new jersey. Sens are giving such great opportunities to the devils.

Gilroy had a lot to do with that goal.

I've been pumping his tires since the 1st.

Cowen should have either shot the puck or when he lost the shooting lane, just dump it in the corner. Instead he tries paying with it, loses it (3 on 1, of course he will), gets run over by the Hammer and Alfie for some inexplicable reason decided to join the fun a second late, as the puck is already headed the other way. When you are playing with just 4, and two of them collide deep inside your own zone, I don't think you should ever go deeper than the opposition blue line. Basically Alfie was supposed to cover for Cowen going deep.

Tell that to Zack Smith.

Man I wish Rooney was here - whenever I mention anything remotely close to saying a team wants to lose I wake up with a sore bunghole the next day.

For shame, Ev.

Nobody wants to lose - not even the Penguins so they can draft Fleury, Malkin and Staal.

You think Edmonton likes drafting top 2 every year for the past 3 years in a row? No way they want to have to deal with the burdens of having 3 franchise players to go with their already nice, young group of players.

Oh, no. What was Gonchar even doing on the ice? Watching Alfie steering the puck carrier to the outside? How about realizing there are some other players on the ice?

When's the last time the Pesky Sens showed up at the rink? When's the last time they came back to win it in the third?

They don't care about winning though. They want to lose. They are trying to tank the first round, they just wanted the revenue from 2 home playoff games and the 15th overall pick... Sarcasm

Lots of attempts at stick checks. No intensity at all any more. The look like they've given up.

Should have rested Spezza and Alfie for a few more games after the clincher.

In all seriousness though, what a difference it would make if this team had a legit top line sniper.
