Irregardless! I'm not one to turn down a quick buck.

As I said, as a fan of the Sens, if I lose, it's worth it to lose $10 in a friendly wager with a friend. But I also, as a realist/pessimist realize the Sens are going to be at a huge disadvantage tonight.

As a student you should also be aware that "irregardless" is not a word.

Regardless, irregardless is a word, because it exists in language.

I still remember when I used it in my thesis and my thesis supervisor (whose father was a retired English Lit professor) corrected me. I don't think I'll ever forget that. The technical content of the paper (this was in Comp Sci) was OK, I guess, but judging from the amount of red ink on the returned draft, my grammar and style were lacking.
