The fact they are only down by 1 is shocking... they can easily win this game with a good 3rd but it won't be close if they don't pick it up a little.

All I know is Quattron's are apparently no better than cheaper models (even worse in some cases).

Bound for a stinker and tonight they laid an egg for sure.

Butler has to start to figure some things out because he's going to lose his spot pretty quick again if he doesn't.

They really missed Alfi tonight, they focused in on one line and even though the 2nd line produced, the 3rd and especially the 4th lines were pretty useless.

Anderson was meh again, not great, not bad, needs to be better on the whole. Can't be letting in 4 goals every game. I question whether Lehner is going to get another game in very short order.

Boston played a really good game, Ottawa played a really bad one.

They need a 3 day break as they have played a ton of hockey. Shake this one off, come back Friday at home and get back on track.

If there was ever a perfect game to lose, this was it. Kind of a wierd statment but they will probably have a day of rest tomorrow, come back Thurs for a good practice and a video session then get ready for the Habs on Friday.

If they can bounce back with a strong effort on Friday and pull out a win, they will get rolling again.

Ok it's seriously dumb to call up Filatov to play 6 minutes a night. Just call up a plugger for the 4th line, somebody like O'Brien. It would benefit the team more than putting Filatov on the 4th line for about 10 shifts a game. Why use somebody in a role he isn't comfortable with? Send him down ASAP. The team would be better off with guys in their proper roles. Filatov is not ready for NHL action.

Actually wait, I assume he will get sent down once Daugavins is ready to go again

Pretty much agree with all of that. There are a few guys down there that should get a look. Even a guy like Grant who has some size and skill would be a much better fit and probably help the team out a little more. That said, Filatov wasn't really the reason they lost. Personally, I think they should have plugged him in there for Butler. He was brutal and has been since day 1 of camp.

That was a very hard game to watch. Damn...games like that are both really frustrating and really depressing, hate that feeling of it being 2-2 and knowing we're about to be scored on again at any second.

Game could have been 15-2, but Anderson still needs to be a lot better if that makes any sense. Da Costa, Foligno and Butler appeared to be about the only players who wanted to play. Spezza can't get up for those physical games thus far.

And honestly, why the Diddle is Filatov in Ottawa and not Bingo.
