Booked?

That scramble in front of Reimer was crazy. No way that would have held up under review. Good thing there's no video review in pre-season... heh heh.

Great play by Neil to shoot the puck low to create the rebound. Don Cherry always says to do this!

Sweet hand-eye by Zibby.

Cowen was the guy who made that happen, then Rundblad made it happen... just smart hockey players, all of them.

I love that play. Should be a third assist on plays like that.

I'm not even against someone judging what should and shouldn't be an assist. Interesting thought.

Can't blame that on Spezza. He wasn't the last guy in and it was Karlsson who flubbed it, then Gonchar who tipped it (subbing in for Karlsson on his other side, I might add). And Lehner *still* should have had that. Should have been a nothing play.

Reminded me of TimBit hockey.

Why would it not have stood? Nobody had control of the puck, it was a Leafs player who knocked it in so it doesn't really matter what part of any Sens player it may have hit before that.

Kadri sucks.

Ummm, so how did Murray get Filatov for a 3rd?

Kadri for Da Costa right now, do it while Burke is there. Burke loves free wallet NCAA players

Seriously, why would Ottawa trade a guy that is showing he has a ton of potential for a guy that is showing he may not reach his?

A Filatov type trade, sure. A player that is showing he may indeed be a very good NHLer... no chance.

I just find it extremely hard to believe that they would turn down Da Costa for Kadri, a guy who they really coveted two years ago. No matter how he looks in pre-season. Potential is certainly greater than Da Costa's.

2 years ago is a long time ago. 4 years ago The Sens were in the finals. Things change and Kadri is looking like a total bust.
