As for the counting of points its on the site, shouldn't be to hard to find, but for people like Flo here it is -

1st star - 3 points
2nd star - 2 points
3rd star - 1 point
Assist - 1 point
Goal - 2 points
Hat trick - 2 points
Power Play Goal - 1 point
Shutout - 2 points
Win - 1 point

I was going to add short handed goals, but since we already drafted I wont.

I would put two points for a win. wasn't that last year?

S'all good. I'll take Halak and Crawford, I'm good with that.

why can't you swap spares in yet? Is it the type of league where you need to switch your guys in day-by-day, based on who is playing?

I think you can cuz i just retired lundqvist for the night for Thomas and lu to grab some points.

I totaly think goaltenders should get 2 points for a win. that was the deal last year. it gives them a chance to be on par with all other players plus I wouldn't have drafted them so high if I didn't think they would rack up more. Do it up sens4win!

I'm fine with 2 points for a win, but are you sure you've got Thomas and Luongo playing tonight? I tried to switch in Kunitz and it said it would get him in for the week of the 10-16th...

yes it should. I think you have to do it a certain amount of time before the games.

I'm very much against editing the scoring after the draft.

Which includes adding star points for goalies, which were not being counted when we made our draft choices.

what? not star points for goalies? we had hem last year. I just don't know why things have to be different then last year. I would of drafted very differently if I would of known.

Well, I based my choices on what was there. I thought star points were counted at first, but when I checked they didn't seem to be - and that seems to be what it says currently - just wins and shutouts.

The player rankings had goalies very far down the list - I think most of us drafted accordingly.

Facepalm seriously? wtf. Right after I took Anderson, all the talk was about how he'd be a star in x# of games this year... I never would have taken him in the 6th round or wherever... No star points makes goalies pretty much worthless.

Meh, we all went with the same gameplan, it was all pretty even. We'll see how it shakes out now.
