I figured some might have some opinions about all the trades and free agent contracts being handed out.

How did your favourite team do? Who do you think the winners and losers are?

I hope Osi and my G-Men can get their issues sorted quick. Would not be happy if he was traded. Hopefully Reese and Osi will see eye to eye soon.

Will be interesting to see where Plaxico lands... Philly? Giants? Who knows...

Will Favre come back for another shot? Stay tuned...

Let the madness begin!

What's the NFL? Is that something those 'merkins watch because they can't see a black puck against the background of white ice? (but they apparently have no problems with white balls against the background of light-blue sky with fluffy white clouds)

The NFL is the biggest sport in North America, and it rules.

The bigger they come the bigger they fall. The NFL is a fantastic marketing machine. I could watch their game of the week promos all day long (if I liked football). But most of the games I've ever seen were more boring than basketball. Seriously, soccer matches can be more exciting.

Personal opinion, of course.

Right along with you Rager. Although I do want to go and see an NFL game live once ... Nothing more boring that basketball though ... nothing.

So why bother even posting in this thread?

and I believe you said before that you are Russian, so that may explain why you don't like it. It's not a European sport.

Nothing better than a Sunday full of football.

Watching them live is a great experience. I've been to about 5 games.

I'm a Rams fan first and foremost.

I have to agree with you there. Nothing better than waking up at late on a weekend and doing nothing but kicking back and watching some football for a good 6 hours or so.

I'm a Titans fan first and foremost, so that Hasselbeck signing was fairly exciting for me. Should be interesting to see how the rest of the QB market shakes out.

So glad NFL is back. really hope the Cowboys can battle back to respectability. They would have been competitive had they not lost Romo for so long.
