Was it Lehner that was shaky or did they just have to settle the ECF jitters and buckle down? On one of the goals Lehner had it between his pads and a guy standing in the crease rammed it in. Another one was shot between Cowen's legs. I wonder if KK pulled him to settle the team or if it was just Lehner.

I think Brust gets the win since the winning goal (5th) was scored when he was in. But who knows how they count it in hockey. They never went behind or tied after the first.

KK says it's a mulligan for Lehner, and he'll still start game 2.

Our AHL affiliate should be in Canada.

I've adopted Binghamton as a suburb of Kanata.

I think it was the ECF jitters or the two teams feeling each other out.

I wondered whose win it was as well, but I see it's Brust.

Nice to see the BSens get the win on the road... tons of goals... not sure I understand how Brust gets the win... BSens never lost the lead and the game was never tied after he was pulled.

Hopefully they can steal another one in Charlotte's house and head back with a 2-0 lead... but it's nice to have the split already.

The winning goal was the 5th one, scored after Lehner left, and he only played one period. Maybe if you played less than the other goalie you have to be in when the winner is scored?

Determining the winning goalie of record doesn't get any more simple: the goalie in net for the winning goal gets the win.

So, in a 7-4 game, the goalie in net for the 5th Bingo goal gets the win.

That's how it works in the NHL, too. I remember Emery getting a win even though he only play the 1st 6 minutes or so of a game. We had scored 2 goals early, and Emery pulled himself out right around the 1st commercial break. Gerber came in and allowed no goals over the next 50-some minutes. Emery got the win, because he was the goalie when the winning goal of record was scored.

Probably a little of both. Anyhow, it looks like KK made the right call and I'll be interested to see who starts tonight. I wouldn't rule Lehner out.

Prags said that KK said that Lehner will get another shot.

Makes sense from KKs comments re. Lehner last week. Basically saying that it's Lehner's team now.

Laugh1 He was pretty good until they scored 2 in one minute on him or whatever it was. Who starts for Charlotte in Game 2? The AHL leader in the playoffs Murphy or Pogge?
