Man oh man... what a crazy series. Home is where the heart is I guess.... fast stat: the team that has scored first in this series has won the game.

Luongo pulled twice in this series... lit up for a gob load of goals... he's got to have the highest GAA in a SCF.

Luongo was terrible, but he's bounced back before in Van....

True, but how many times can you keep going to that well? Thomas has been consistently good throughout.

Raymond is out (see play below). Some suspect a broken pelvis. He could not step over the door opening to get on the bench or walk down the hall on his own. He's gone, and that's a top-six forward with speed. He'll me missed. They are also down two D-men in Rome and Hamhuis. Boston is hurting with Horton gone, and they need Marchand and Seguin to step up tomorrow. What's wit Chris Kelly? He took the most draws of all Boston centers last night and was 74%. Is that cage helping him on face offs? I'd be so happy for him to win.

Krejci leads the playoffs with 23 points. The Sedins are right behind at 22 and 20. The big difference is Krejci is +8, while the twins are a combined -12.

Raymond is out 4-6 months with a hip/back injury. OK, that rules out bruise; are there ligaments there that could snap or is this most definitely a broken hip/pelvis?

Sounds like a broken hip/pelvis. Man... that sucks.

Does anybody know *anyone* who likes the Canucks? This is crazy. Everyone I've spoken with would much rather Boston wins. I guess, in Ottawa, at least, there's a much stronger connection (Chara, Kelly, Chiarelli, Hnidy, plus the ex-Habs in Ryder and Julien; Recchi too, of course, but he's been everywhere).

Never said I *wanted* Boston to win... you can't ignore Van's home record... but it's just a feeling...

Sources are saying Raymond family saying he suffered a fractured vertebrae from the Boychuck hit.

Yikes.

From the Fan 590: Sources are telling Sportsnet's Dan Murphy that Vancouver Canucks forward Mason Raymond suffered a fractured vertebrae. Raymond was taken to a hospital Monday night after he was injured during the first shift of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals.

Holy Dung. Is it weird that he wasn't taken off on a stretcher? As soon as I saw the replay of him going butt first into the boards, I immediately thought of a back injury. And when you saw him being "helped" off the ice, he wasn't moving his legs at all.... That really sucks, and that's a blow for Vancouver going into the final game (not that Raymond was lighting it up anyway). Maybe they'll rally around it in the same weird way that Horton's injury seemed to wake up the Bruins.

Luongo is the classic regular season hero, but when the chips are down and the pressure is cranked up, he just can't take it mentally. Will being on home ice save him? More to come...

Is this is another "make or break" his career type of moment... like the Olympics? He's been so Jekyll and Hyde in this series... something I'd expect from Thomas. If Van wins, the Conn Smythe voting will be interesting... hard to give it to a guy that's been pulled twice in the SCF.

I think it's a real make or break. The Olympics were huge - and he was good, but let's face it, he didn't have to do that much. Now the spotlight is burning a hole in the Canucks crease - all eyes will be on him. Is he a great regular season goalie and a very beatable playoff goalie, or will he 'redeem' himself for the 20th time this post-season? If he wins tomorrow, a lot of this will be laughed off/forgotten, if he doesn't it will follow him around until he wins (mind you, as in all sports, the window begins to close soon after the success comes).

I should also add that I couldn't care less who wins, but I'm putting my horses in Tim Thomas' stable in Game 7.

mendes also tweeted that no team has ever won three game 7s in the stanley cup finals. Tall order for th bruins to win this still. And they can't score in vancouver.

In boston's favor is the lacklustre performance of kesler and the sedins. But they usually step up at home, as does Luongo. Vancouver in 7 imo, but I really hope boston can pull it off!

Meh, that's counteracted by Vancouver being Canadian - both mean little to me to be honest. I'd like Kelly and Chara to hold the Cup, don't get me wrong, but it won't mean going for the Bs - who I friggin loathe.

That said, throughout the playoffs, I've much preferred watching Boston play.
