Actually I think these are the teams we can afford to beat, the teams that are battling to make the playoffs, but not in it. So they are far enough ahead of us that beating them doesn't mean they'll catch up to us, but still not so far that they are really good an 'should' beat us. It's the top teams that we can't afford to beat because they 'should' beat us. And we can't afford to beat the teams directly around us a la Islanders, Edmonton, Colorado, and Florida.

That's not good though, IMO. 70 games is a lot and he will get fatigued like hie did last year (71 GP last year).
