According to Dreger, the Oilers are one of ten teams Neil refuses to be traded to.

If the rumours are true, we may have seen Alex Kovalev score his last goal as a Senator. Was told late this afternoon there are a couple teams bidding for his services but Murray is trying to land a prospect in return.

At this point it feels like a trade could come at any point. And not just Kovalev. We shall see.

If my memory serves me correctly, the Rangers, Wild, Kings, Oilers, Thrashers, Ducks, Devils were on the no-go list. I can't remember the other three.

All these call-ups are going to start to impact Bingo. Perhaps they were trying not to take all the "talent".

And the Battle of Ontario is coming up...

Yeah, that's a good point. Dung, I'll admit, this is starting to get embarrassing. Facepalm

Even with all the callups out of their lineup, Bingo continues to win. Last night a 6-2 win with Jim O'Brien with the hat trick.

Not only did they have a bunch of callups, but they also played short-handed. They only dressed 16 skaters - 6 D and 10 F.

And they were missing some of their better players. Their number 1 Dman in Andre Benoit, number 1 sniper in Butler, and two of their better secondary scorers in Greening and Condra. And their crappy enforcer Lessard as well.

What's more, these players represent statistically prior to this game, the 2nd (Condra), 3rd (Benoit), 4th (Greening) and 7th (Butler) leading scorers on the team.

I'm very impressed that they managed to show up like they did missing such key players on the team, against a team that was 4 points up in the standings. They could have packed it in, and had an excuse, but they didn't. That shows good heart, leadership, and coaching.

Very impressive win for our young guys.

Let's just hope he sticks around. Bingo hasn't been a pillar of stability at the coaching position over the last few years.

Sorry -- I want Eberle.. that's not happening either. How about Penner. OR how about Lander -- nice young Swedish prospect that was great at the WJC. (LOL)

Further to the revelation of Neil's limited NTC:

It has been mentioned before but Chris Neil has a limited NTC.

Can not be traded to Rangers,Islanders,Oilers,Ducks, Wild,Kings,Sabres, Thrashers, Blues or Devils
.

No Leafs? I have lost all respect for this player. Trade him right Cussing now.

Jurke tried to sign him as a FA if I recall.

I seem to recall this too. And he was close to signing IIRC.

If I remember correctly they were offering him 200k more per year.

But maybe he figured there would be no way Murray would trade him to the Leafs, so he didn't want to waste one of his picks on them.
