Unreal. At least they get a point + the Isles win, that's really big for us. I'm fine with coming in with pick 3, it's after that for me personally, I feel there's a difference personally.

Well I'm not even convinced Landeskog is ahead of Strome at this point on The Sens list. That game was unreal by him tonight.

Haven't seen the game, a scouting report would be appreciated The Official 2011 Tank Nation thread - Page 52 54934

I love a guy that can dangled and thread the needle as much as anyone but if you are looking at the tools that will make one player better than the other at The NHL level, it's smarts and size. I also put the ability to score goals a little further on the list than the ability to make a pass.

IMO I can see why the rumours of Strome being the number 1 on a few lists exsist. I have a hard time not putting him there now myself. Basically has the same offensive flare as RNH but is a better goal scorer, is bigger, and IMO probably a little smarter away from the puck but I like I said I haven't seen RNH play all that much.

More likely that we get shane prince than strome, but either way we'd have to move up. good thing we got a gazillion 2nd rounders

Move up to get Shane Prince? He'd probably be available at our second, and maybe even further if this injury he suffered tonight (concussion) is serious.

Murray loves picking guys coming off injuries that teams forget about. Having 3 first rounders will give him a chance to take a serious chance on someone. Wiercoich is a nice example along with Stone.

2 firsts you mean? I would take Prince even if he was injured, but I don't think we would have to move up if he wasn't. You can get him at 33 or whatever our 2nd will be, most likely.

Sorry, 3 second rounders.

Just an all around smart game. Scored 2 goals, was noticable on every shift, clearly the best player on the ice IMO (better than Toffoli). Got my man crush on tonight basically.

RNH has an excellent game away from the puck too if that's what worries you and is pretty damn smart. After all, he's the N1center/MVP on the best defense in the WHL.
What I find great for both guys is their team is centered around them and a N1 Defenseman (Hamilton/Petrovic), and the rest are nobodys but they make them better.

Any rumoured scouts in attendance?

Guess it comes down to preferance. I'll take the guy with a bit more size and more of an edge. I have no idea how either guy is in the clutch so I can't really form an educated opinion on these guys. Going back to our convo with Big Ev earlier today, I don't think there is anyway Couturier is drafted in the top 5.

No idea but I'm sure Ottawa had someone there. They probably talk to Killer enough on a regular basis as well.

He's the guy I can see as the player we take if we finish 4. I've rarely ever heard a bad thing said about him from people that have seen him play.

He (Strome) impressed the heck outta me as well. He's up to number 4/5/6 on my list, may not be the praise others are giving him, but it's a start, lol.

Like I said, 8 months younger than Landeskog. His stock rising is good for us, more options in the top 5. I still wanna win the lottery.
EDIT: He now has 101 pts in 61 games. As a comparison, Seguin had 106 in 63 last year.

If they don't get Landeskog they draft Strome IMO. Doesn't matter if it's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th.

I put him above RNH for sure and maybe Landeskog now. Also, like Marak said the kid is 8 months younger, that's pretty much 1 full year of development less than the others and that's a HUGE factor and that can't be ignored.
