reason being Landeskog is 6' -210lbs and NHL ready, and would fit on the Left Wing with Spezza. He is also Sweedish and Alfie could mentor Landeskog, Omark, Karlsson, and Rundblad for the next tear or so until he retires.

I could watch that for a year, pick up another top 5 pick in 2012 draft, then get two more UFA's (Sharp, Stoll) and we are back in contention. No one messes with the young guys with Neil, Alberts, Carkner and Cowen in the lineup. Two year turn around.

Interesting. I find myself not drawn to Couturier the way I was earlier in the year. Not sure why. I'd put him as my least favourite, but what do you like about Couturier that makes you say that?

Maybe it's because he's a "solid" prospect who doesn't bring the individual skills that RNH does, or the smarts that Larsson does or the leadership and grit that Landeskog brings. What is does is bring all of those things in a big package. I see a lot of Brad Richards/Jordan Staal in him which anyone should be thrilled with. I think some people question where on the scale he will end up on that scale though, and that could be the issue.

Top-four being Larsson, RNH, Landeskog and Couturier? I'd say Landeskog is a good candidate to replace Alife. Right wing - check. Carries the team on his shoulders - check. Swedish - check. On the other hand, with Fisher gone we are going to be in desperate need of a center.

My main issue is that I'm not sure his offence will translate to the NHL level and that we could have a Brendan Morrow/Dustin Brown on our hands (both fantastic players who I would love, but not with a lottery pick).
