Don't know if I read it here or heard it on the radio or TV but apparently Leclaire will not play if he's not quite right. Doesn't even have to be injured.

Most man-games lost to injury this season: 1) Islanders 2) Pascal Leclaire 3) NJ Devils. Great for Lehner, though.

Man, with back-to-backs, we may see Lehner get the start tomorrow.

According to Scott MacArthur, Lehner was going to play for the BSens this weekend and Brodeur was going to play for Elmira in the ECHL... but Leclaire's wonky whatever has messed those nice plans all up.

I guess Clouston is worried about Elliott's play and knowing Leclaire could not go in the net... had no choice. But why not Brodeur? Lehner needs to play not sit on the bench.

I'm going to the game tomorrow. Last 6 or 7 games I've been to they lost (though thank heavens wasn't at Leaf game).. so I guess I should now hope for a win?

I too am surprised at Lehner being called up and not Brodeur. Perhaps logistics played a factor.

Lehner needs to play, a lot. This ain't helping.

I went to the Carolina game with a Canes fan (yes, they do exist), and the Leafs game with a Leafs fan, all in the span of a couple days. I was wondering what god I pissed off to punish me like that.

Heh. I saw the Sens play the Leafs here in Toronto when they last visited the ACC... went with my bro-in-law (a Leafs fan). Sens won and it was SWEETNESS let me tell you.

Is it bad that I want Elliott to continue with his bad play of late, tonight? I just would really like to see Lehner start tomorrow night to add a little excitement to the game. Just one game to see where's he at. If he gets blown out, no big deal, send him back down to the A so he can get a ton of starts down there. If he plays really well, then we will re-evaluate from there.

What makes some of the games I go to unbearable, besides the play on the ice, is behind us is 4 (count 'em 4) Habs fans who have half-season tickets to Sens games. Don't ask me why. They just sit there and boo Sens all night long. They aren't there every game I'm at (I have 1/2 season as well).. but most.

York on Team1200 tried to make a case for it, saying how Brodeur was sent to Elmira because they wanted him to get a start, so that's why it was Lehner who was brought up. But Lehner is the future of this organization and he's had a write-off type of season behind Brust; Brodeur is not the future of the franchise. Which of these two needs a start more?
