Admits there was meddling, but only because Allaire's style was outdated and ineffective... yeah, how'd that work out for you?

Clearly some bitterness between those two indeed. This should have all been handled behind closed doors and made to look like he was just moving on.

Well he might have a year or two under the new MLSE ownership, but nothing he's done there has made any sense to me.

When Kessel walks as a UFA to play for a real team that will be the final nail (if needed) and the footnote to his 'legacy' in Toronto.
