Good move for The Monster. Could see some playing time with Pavelec possibly on the outs.

Leafs did well for themselves, for a change, with Morgan Rielly + Matt Finn. Both should be NHLers in the not-too-distant future. Of course, they didn't have any other picks after that until rounds 5, 6, and 7... Smile

Dont think either guy is a franchise guy, not even close. Toronto is still missing a #1 goalie, a #1 D man, and a #1 center. They don't even have one coming down the pipe line.

Don't worry. Just wait until you see the bounty that they get when they trade Kadri and Schenn. They'll probably be able to get Luongo, Ballard, and the Sedins. Plus they'll get some picks back, of course.

The Erie Otters got SHELLED this past season. The whole team was - a billion.

They went 10-52-3-3 and had 338 goals against.

Yes, they were terrible. He was still -11 worse than the next guy.

Burke is apparently in contact with the Avs to try and get Stastny. He was also apparently trying to get Marleau out of SJ, but that didn't go well.

He's a lawyer (from Harvard no less).

And Leafs don't have any worthwhile assets they can afford to part with, Burke is just looking for an idiot he can trade with (like Sutter and Bob Murray).

He's done a better job of rebuilding the Bruins.
