I echo Rooney, I don't think he lasts the month - but I can see him gone in the next 10 days.

I'll say 9 - 11 days. Give or take.

I'll say "another 10 to 14 days". To be different. Wink

I'd imagine the trade would be for a mid-level prospect. Someone on a two-way contract.

And it will be longer that 10-14 days. There is zero market for Lee right now

I said another 10 to 14 days. I didn't say from when. It's a floating 10-14 much like Kuba and his targeted return date. :D

What about Skille from Chicago? He needs a big time change in scenery.

I didn't say he'd be traded before the end of the month; I said he'd be off of our NHL roster before the end of the month. At this point, I won't be surprised to see him waived; if claimed, meh, if not, back to Bingo or passed through re-entry waivers. I mean, I think he's that gonzo.

We're not getting Skille for Lee. No chance.

That idea might work, actually. Brunnstrom is also on a one-way deal, either not playing in the NHL or just playing in the minors. Problem for problem. Money about matches up, too. Sounds like a possible fit, if DAL has given up on the guy.

No? Why not? The Hawks need a cheap D-man, Skille has busted large, what am I missing?

I'm not convinced that he sucks completely. Big, fast winger with good hands. He's already in the minors so I'm assuming he can stay there? Gets Lee off the cap too. Either way, he's 200k cheaper than Lee.

There might be similar opportunities elsewhere for all I know.

Would Boston let Zach Hamill go? He's been underwhelming in their organization, like Lee here, but he has skills. He's also victim of the Bs having a ton of forward prospects.

#8 overall pick for #9 overall pick - both need a change.

I stand by Skille for Lee or Bickell for Lee as Chicago needs a solid #5-6 guy.

I'd also try Brunnstrom for sure if that was on the table.

Maybe...just maybe Bryan Murry can turn this guy into something useful for the organization - although I won't hold my breath.

I think that's exactly what Lee is worth. A reclamation project that isn't worth holding your breath for.

If any of those deals went down I'd be relatively excited though. Always nice to get new blood in - if nothing else, it could help Bingo.

I'd be more excited just to see Lee gone. I think he has more trade value than people estimate though (ie. more than none).

Yeah, I'm starting to slowly see that I may have been undervaluing him a bit.
