PHI trades Ryan Parent to NSH for Hamhuis and a conditional 2011 pick:

I admire PHI's contempt for the cap.

Its looking like a Leigthon, Boucher combo for next year.

Emery was on a one-year deal, and his injury/disease is probably career threatening.

you got to respect holms and the flyers for being so goddamn agressive on the trade market. that team is usealy competitive year in year out.
