I just hope the fourth line doesn't kill little Karlsson before he grows up. We will need that little guy in years to come....

AGREED!! He's 10 times better as a centre than winger.

Hartsburg scouted him in the OHL and said he was one of the better center icemen in the league. Interesting twist here.

Yea, interesting indeed. If he excels there, all of a sudden we have an even bigger surplus of centres. I wonder what that means for guys like Vermette and Kelly long term.

Just learn the wing properly in both cases. It's Z.Smith and even O'Brien that threaten Vermette in the future.

Kelly I can see being safe throughout his contract. When management loves you as much as they love Kelly, you're good (unless you slack off, which I can't see).

Darren Dreger was on off the record last night (repeat at noon today) and said the Sens are still looking for a PMD and that Bieksa's name is still being mentioned, as well as Matthias Ohlund. Vermette may not be safe.

Foligno, Winchester, and whomever we replace Vermette with... not to mention Bieksa will add at least 30 points.

Other than Vermette..I doubt we can do anything. You know they want Foligno to play with Kesler- and I'm not 100% sold on that kind of move.

How about Shannon and a pick (I kid..)

Does kelly have a NTC or NMC. If not then I dont think he is safe. If a deal came that made sense for Murray or he needs to free up money I think Kelly is just as expendable. That being said I dont think Kelly would get traded until after season.

Nikulin has apparently asked for a trade. Thing is, he couldn't just get a roster spot ahead of the likes of Donovan, Bass, Winchester or McAmmond, he couldn't even get a shift in the pre-season. Who would want him?
