Milan Michalek - Grade the Sens.

Michalek started off so well, along with Mike Fisher, that it had many Sens fans saying Dany who? Then Michalek went through an unbelievably long dry spell. Sure he was doing a lot of little things well but, that kind of dry spell is difficult to ignore. I know he had some injury issues that kept him out for significant time so I hope, with an off-season to get healthy, that he comes back firing and doesn't go through too long of a cold stretch. We certainly don't need another debate much like Mike Fisher when it comes to our top six.

For Michalek I'll give a B-. It was close to a C+ but his hot start coupled with injuries can't be overlooked IMO.

I gave him a C. Was very inconsistent when healthy and seemed to have a difficult time fitting on a line. Will he be ready come training camp ?

Very exciting player. Combines speed, physicality and finish. He was headed for a career-year in goals. Will be a Top-6 winger for years to come.
