Actually, I don't really care either way, but I'd love to see Phoenix go deep and see what kind of damage they can do. Detroit has been there so often already, I really do like them too though.

And what did I tell you guys about Washington. That Dung 100 goals per game nonsense just doesn't work in the postseason. And their powerplay is clicking at something embarrassing like 2%. Pathetic.

Cmon now, that was an unbeliavable goaltending performance and probably won't be repeated in game 7.

Yeah I'm tired of the same teams dominating the NHL. It's refreshing when a team that people thought had no business in the league let alone playoffs is taking arguably one of the best teams in NHL history to 7 games. I still think Phoenix is a bad city for hockey, but the team shouldn't have to suffer as much as they have.

San Jose is gonna beat the Wings next round!

Honestly, the Coyotes moving on would have been terrible, they are probably the most boring team in the playoffs so far. Effective, but boring. Losing Shane Doan sucked for them, though...

Detroit is going to pummel San Jose. The only reason their series against the Coyotes went to 7 games is because Bryzgalov stood on his head.

If you thought Joe Thornton was lousy in the first round against Colorado, wait until he has to line up against Zetterberg and Datsyuk. They are going to tear him a new bunghole.

This Wings team isn't dominant, they went to 7 because Pheonix is also a good team, not because Bryzgalov stood on his head. They DID finish in 4th...I like this edition of the Sharks. They have great depth and I think the Thornton line is gonna be big next round. Everybody will be doubting them, but I think they'll move on to the WCF. They'll be the favourites and I think they will be too much for The Wings. This isn't the Wings of the last 2 seasons, they're not gonna pummel the Sharks. If they beat them, they will win it in a close series that would go 7 most likely.

By the way, all series have been clinched by the road team so far. Will the trend continue tomorrow night in Washington?

I don't see THornton/Heatley doing anything against Zetterberg/Datsyuk/Franzen & cie. If anything, Pavelski and Setoguchi will again have to carry the load.

If this series starts Thursday, the Sharks will have had plenty of rest, plus they didn't have to travel as much as the Wings had to in the opening round.

One team that should never be questioned is Detroit. Until someone in The West beats them, they are the favorites. They are a better team then SJ and if people think Thornton had trouble in the 1st round, well, he's in a lot of trouble.

Also, SJ 2nd line wont be running rough shot like they did on The Avs, Detroit is 4 lines deep, has a better blueline, and the goaltending is probably a wash.

Wow, SJ is in real tough here. This was a tough series for Detroit, but in the end their big guns got fully engaged. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom were awesome and Fillpula is becoming one heck of a player.

Howard's looked like a rookie a little lately though, that won't work vs SJ, but Thornton, Marleau, Heatley, Pavelsi, Clowe, Seto - they're all in real tough vs Detroit.

Don't like it for SJ - and that makes me mildly pleased.
