Murray Appreciation Thread

This guy has done nothing but make Ottawa competitive now and in the future. Some hit and miss with trades but overall he's done a phenomenal job.

Sign me the Diddle up yeah.
We're competitive and the prospect pool is back to respectability.
Karlsson alone makes mUrray a genious.

Karlsson and Wiercioch have the potential to be as impactful as Perry and Getzlaf. He's done real well here.

i've always been a big fan. sure like you said, some hit and miss on some trades but there's no denying the man can draft well. hope we keep him around for years to come.

Meszaros for Kuba, Picard (Cullen), and 1st (Campoli). That was a very solid trade no matter what way you look at it. Picard and Mesaros are about on the same level.

Yeessss!!! Bm is the Diddling man! The man and his staff have done a remarkable job of stockpiling prospect talent. Recently, we've heard so much about Weircioch, Butler, Lehner, Cowick, Wick, Gryba, Cowen, Hoffman, peterson, silfverberg, and of course, Karlsson getting lots of attention in the NHL. Great stuff, we literally never heard so much about our prospects back in the muckler days.

seriously. i watched the presser were he anounced he was in for another year and he just said he wasn't a spring chicken anymore... does that mean he wants to retire??? i certainly hope not.

Don't forget, it was Leclaire and Lehner from Columbus for a guy we weren't gonna pay 4 million.

He just got re-signed for 4 million a year by Columbus.

You make it seem like we moved him because of some outrageous salary demands.

Well, it was coming as well as Fisher taking his spot, 2nd line center.

3 more years? Murray is good at drafting and building a core, but we still need another GM to come in and tweak the team here and there to build a serious contender.
