Oh wait.... that's exactly what happened.

Am I in a low(er) budget version of ground hog day or something?

HELP!! Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh!

Leafs games at the SBP? All-inclusive vacations? What part of that says "low-budget"? Or did you want Andie McDowell to come along for the ride as well?

I was thinking more Puksatanee (sp) Phil. Wink

This has to be a convincing effort. Beat them on the scoresheet! Stick Orr's fingers where the sun don't shine! Make sure it's one of theirs that's carried off the ice instead of one of ours. It starts with Slewidge. Instead of that stupid kiss and wink, he should whisper "Leafs suck" into the mike at the end of O Canada. I want Clouston to throw a water bottle at Wilson; I want Bryan and Brian to get at each other in the upper hallway. I want little kids with Maple Leafs and Sens stickers on their cheeks to start pulling each other's hair out. OK, too far?

Maybe a little too far. How about an 18 month old kicking her shoe off from the 300 level down to the 200 level? Oh wait that happened last game and it was my daughter. Funny thing is they were kind enough to throw the shoe back up to us so we didn't have to go

Either you were pulling a Michael Jackson or she's got some kick in her Smile

That was a very interesting way to spell "Punxsutawney" Smile

CLouston tells them to play the final 13 games like they were playoffs.

When I started typing in the google bar, quite a few "suggestions" came up. I think a lot of people are having trouble with the spelling, but they do come up with some wonderfully creative solutions.

Clouston is treating these final 13 as playoff games, I started 4 games ago. We're 1-3 and on the brink of elimination on my scorecard.

"Quiet in here ... too quiet"

It's always bugged me that I'm almost 100% positive that's a line from a movie or TV show. But I could never figure out which one. Perhaps it's become one of those lines that has been repeated so many times in so many places that no-one remembers its origin.

I found this quote from "Repo Man":

Awful quiet in here ... too quiet.

Watched that movie more than 20 years ago. Just once. Don't think I really got it, so could that be the one line that stuck with me?

would it be too much to ask to perhaps have our fans be louder than the visiting team's fans?

We owe the Leafs a whooping so they can revert back to GAME DAY: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Ottawa Senators – 7:30PM EST, Tuesday, March 16, 2010 - Page 3 68890

It is quiet. But I think that has a lot to do with:

1.The Sens suck right now and it's almost a challenge to come and rehash what's going wrong

2.We're so close to the playoffs, that's when the renewed interest will come in.

3.March break, a lot of families doing stuff together

That would be my thoughts. I was asking a mod at HF Boards if the traffic was down there and he said it was down around 55% from pre-deadline to now.

know what sucks? I had to book carry-over vacation days from work before the end of april, and I need to visit family in California around that period. So without hesitation I booked a ticket for the last week of April (23rd to 1st) without realizing that I could potentially be missing the Sens playoff games 5, 6, 7 for round 1 and the first couple of games for round 2. And since its the U.S., I probably won't be able to stream CBc from there either GAME DAY: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Ottawa Senators – 7:30PM EST, Tuesday, March 16, 2010 - Page 3 521674

That sounds about right for how low we are right now.

is it just me or is it that everytime we play the leafs i feel that were going to lose, there not that free easy to get a win on team any more, they always find a way to pull an upset vs a better team but then they lose to teams like carolina and atlanta.

Or perhaps they lose? Sarcasm
