Dude, Karlsson is insane. Once his balls drop and is actually an adult he will be a top 5 D man in The NHL.

Huge win tonight for a ton of reasons.

My God, Karlsson is so incredibly good that words just don't describe it. Diddle...I'm so impressed with that guy right now.

And Brian Lee was awesome. Who the heck would have thought? Who?

Man I hope Murray can resign Cullen, Im more impressed with him every game. Same goes for Sutton. Murray has brought in a ton of character and tallent.

LMAO, Cullen just said you could hear the guys in the bathroom on Saturday night, he's never seen anything like it, hahaha.

I decided to come on before I went to bed to praise Lee's game tonight, you beat me to it SpezD. He just looked alot more calm and poised out there tonight. Put a string of those together and maybe we have something here. I'd love to eat my own words about this guy.

I think this was the first time Karlsson looked comfortable out there since his injury -- and he looked more than comfortable, nice to see him finally padding his stats with 2 dimes.

Also nice to see Milan finally bang one in there with all of the chances he had.

Wasn't pretty, but we hopefully found our groove again in the 3rd.

Sutton and Cullen have both been gems. I've already forgotten about the draft picks.

I think Cullen may be a little tricky to sign, but I would definately like to see Sutton signed this summer, the guy is an absolute wall. I liked the video montage they showed tonight when he was with the Isles against the Oilers. He's a mean SOB.

With A Train moving on and Cheechoo burried in the minors if he isnt bought out, there is a ton of cap room to sign both. In fact Sutton might be a guy Ottawa is forced to sign anyways.

As far as the draft picks go they were never an issue in my mind and a lot of others.

I'm very impressed right now, I really am. Karlsson is ridiculous, Sutton is the man, Cullen had a great game. Newcomers are having fun, I love it!

Again though, Brian Lee. Diddle... Ahhhhh!

Although a lot of guys looked good tonight, we were playing the last place team in the league. They're down there for a reason. At any rate, nice win for the guys. Let's hope that they can turn things around again and start getting hot right before the playoffs start.

Yeah, but Cullen and Sutton have looked fantastic for a while now and seem to fit right in. Having Sutton on the other side of Karlsson looks like a fantastic pairing and even with a resgining of A Train, that's the kind of partner you want Karlsson to have based on how much he has developed. Big mean D man, rocket of a shot, good in his own end, good passer.

Cullen since being moved to center looks amazing. There isnt anything Cullen doesnt do out there. He has actually been played in every situation as a Sen already. Impressive to say the least IMO.

Elliott another win, la di da!

Great win last night. Took a while to get the goals going, but great effort from start to finish (except on the power plays Facepalm ).

I have to admit, I missed all of the game, except the two minutes in the third when they scored the two quick ones (and my eyes were mostly closed by that point -- rough week). Neil was playing in the third, so I guess he got hurt but not injured on that play.

New GDT is up.

Can I just say this (hope no one else has said something about this yet if so sorry for not reading through the entire thread).

I'm pissed at both SNET and TSN. I watched up to the end of the 2nd period last night and then headed to sleep. When I woke up I turned on TSN right away and watched the highlights. I had to wait for a while (typical) for several other games to show their highlights before I was able to see the Sens highlights.

Then it what pissed me off was that the Sens Highlights were all of about 30 seconds long. Total! Two Canadian teams play and all I get are 30 seconds of highlights..showing Edmonton's goal, then Kelly's goal and then the winner (I think) in Michalek's.

No mention of how Ottawa dominated the first two periods and if not for Edmonton's goalie there wouldn't have been a game. No mention of Alfie getting 3 assists and having him back was probably the single biggest reason for them winning.

I then flip to S-NET east for the sens highlights and again, I had to wait for Toronto's and Montreal's highlights to stream past, before I get to Ottawa's. Same bloody thing after that..30 seconds of highlights after enduring 5 minutes of both Montreal and Toronto including interviews.

Isn't SNET-E supposed to be Ottawa's base station?

Just plain frustrating.

Let's be honest...

The only reason Lee was resigned (IMHO) is that both Volchenkov and Sutton are both UFA's and Ottawa just can't afford to let a dman with experience (even if it's lee) walk away if they can prevent it.

depth if nothing else.

See, this is the big complaint I have as well. At 8 AM they have the highlights you're talking about, then at 8:30, they're a little longer, then at 9:00 they come with interviews, complete with Pat Quinn calling his team pansies, but very few people see the 9AM one, I have no idea why they don't center on hockey from 8-9 AM, full highlights and interviews etc. It's rather annoying to have to watch what's happening in basketball and soccer the day after a full slate of NHL games, I care about what happens to the Coyotes and the Avalanche, tell me!

Cullen or Kelly?

Sutton or Volchenkov?

That's what Bryan Murray should be asking himself.
