Yeah, but by the same taken, Crosby could certainly be mentioned in this conversation. It's not like Iginla said Rory Fitzpatrick is the best player in the world.

Crosby was really impressive tonight.

I agree. I can put any bitterness aside for a few weeks and cheer for whomever scores.

Neely, there'd be absolutely no point having Heatley on the team with your attitude then. I know you hate him because he's a "douchebag" but there's a reason he's on the team. There's a handful of guys I'd have left off way before I consider taking his name off the roster.

Obviously being a "douchebag" in the NHL has no bearing on Olympian status. And as bad as you think Heatley might be, there's likely many more worse than he is.

I couldn't care less. We'll see if he steps up against the real teams or if he's just gonna show up against powerhouse Norway and Swiss teams. I will never like Heatley again, there's nothing you can say to ever make me not cringe at the sight of that one-eyed bionic prissy loser.

He's a loser to me and always will be, the fact that he's donning the Canadian colours frankly makes me ill.

I find that almost as bad as Leaf fans that did not want Fisher on the team based solely on the fact that he wears a Senator jersey.

You guys have some serious emotional issues to work out. He's representing his country not his NHL club. Everyone should cheer for anyone who contributes to the success of the team, including Heatley.

We're gonna need guys like him to come up big for us down the stretch if we want to beat the better teams like Sweden, Finland, USA, Russia.

Impressions about last night.

Danny Boyle was awesome. He was making excellent decisions out there and his game was just awesome to watch

Drew Doughty was impressive - can't believe he's only 20. Kid is going to be amazing and playing with the best in the Country is only going to make him that much better.

Thought all the forwards played well. Way to go Iggy scoring a hatty. Heater did his thing adding two goals, atta boy. The guys that were not scoring were checking and doing their thing. All around good effort.

Luongo was perfect, though he didn't get tested too much. Keeping focused is going to be the hard part for the games vs. the weaker opponents. The USA, Russia, Sweden, Slovakia, the Czechs, and the Finn's are going to bring it.
