Along the way a penalty shot for closing the hand on the puck in the crease (I'll never understand that one*), a very questionable boarding call on Adams that led to the winning PPG.

* In this case he didn't even touch the puck with his hands. He went down in the crease and the puck slid under him. It wasn't even a case of him falling down *on* the puck.

So a win for Lalime. Good for him. Smile

I was just looking at that call that led to the PS again in a larger window. Wow, the guy goes down in the crease, tries to bat the puck away (with the back of his hand) and misses, it slides under him and they call for the penalty shot. I don't get it. I never could get it. In most cases the player bats the puck away but heaven help him if he does it with the palm of his hand. To me, closing the hand on the puck means you either grab it or cover it up. Batting it away is a good play. But in this case, he didn't even do that.

And that boarding call was weak as well.

I remember being at a Sens vs. Habs game years ago and I kept hearing this guy yelling what sounded like Why Why Why. I felt like yelling back Why NOT until I realized he was just saying yeah in french.

Fluff.

Edit: It's OK this is the non magnetic stuff so your PC is fine.

Plus there's no one there now.

Although I voted "Yes" in the poll, I am assuming Fisher doesn't get named to the team. If that's the case (and I hope I'm wrong), how would that affect his play tonight?

Six pages of posts and the game is still 9-1/2 hours away. What's going on? And don't blame it all on me trying to reach 9K. Lots of hockey going on elsewhere, so it's not like we are starved for hockey. Anyone else getting this week off? That's probably what's going on.

I think you'll see him have his best all around game of the season with a 3 point night if he's not named to the team.

Sure, go ahead. It's not like you're doing any *work* now. Besides, I'm a tax payer, you're a federal employee. That kind of makes me your boss, and your boss says get in there and chat away.

The Sens have re-scheduled their "Game Day Experience" for today. Typically you could attend the game-day practice for free, get a poster for the kids, but with 3 games in 4 days today's morning skate was canceled, so the "Game Day Experience" will be rescheduled.
