He may get his own endorsment deal...

definitely not delivery. GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Los Angeles Kings - 10:30pm ET - Thu. Dec. 3rd, 2009 PLUS post game thoughts - Page 4 235689 GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Los Angeles Kings - 10:30pm ET - Thu. Dec. 3rd, 2009 PLUS post game thoughts - Page 4 805406

You must have read the draft of the script already:

Randy Robitaille: Don't try and Diddling tell me that this Dung is delivery!

Mike Brodeur: Who the hell refers to pizza from a pizzeria as "delivery" anyway?

(Randy and Mike high five each other.)

I also have a leaked photo of the "delivery" guy.

Seriously, Spezza does need to step up tonight. Put him and Kovalev together, see if $12M can buy a couple goals.

That's the way it should be tonight. Time to change it up a bit and get him going. Michalek can play with Fisher and be very effective. And, if I'm not mistaken, Michalek and Cheechoo played together in SJ at times, so why not put him on the right of Fisher?

They have an opportunity to corner the no name brand frozen pizza market.

While coach Cory Clouston doesn’t name his starter until the day of the game, he indicated Wednesday that Elliott will play against the Kings in Los Angeles Thursday and if Binghamton callup Mike Brodeur is going to get a chance, it will likely come against the Coyotes in Phoenix on Saturday.

I think a lot will depend on what happens tonight.

I think it's safe to say he'll play that game. Unless you want to put him in against Anaheim...

We have tonight's game, Saturday and Sunday. He'll have to play one of them. No?

Fisher's not a playmaker, unfortunately. I'm not sure puck possession guys like he and Michalek would help Choochoo.

Would it hurt to try though? Kovalev is a puck possession guy too. He wouldn't give it up against SJ the other night. He's got to get going and soon.

His linemates have to be better at reading the play. I really can't blame him for hanging on when the other guys are clueless.

So then why wouldn't it work with Spezza and Alfie. They're both good at reading the play, especially Alfie. Maybe Kovie will start to shoot along with Alfie. I don't know...it's getting frustrating though.

Fisher has been shooting a lot this year and so has Michalek. We could have a 2nd line of guys just shooting the puck non-stop. Big bodies too. Except for Cheechoo...unless you put Foligno with them.

Why? Elliott is young and in prime shape. We need wins so badly on this road trip. We'll see what happens tonight and Saturday.

Fair enough. It's just that we have sooooo many games in December. 17 to be exact. At some point you have to bring Brodeur in and let Elliott rest for at least 1 of those 17. We have 3 back to backs this month alone. One of them is against Jersey in Jersey the other against Minny at home. Pretty tough stuff. That week against Jersey we have 4 games.

I assume you mean Spezza. I am of the belief that 7M first line centres should be used to get other players going, not the other way around.

Spezza - Step up now.

I meant Kovalev actually. Of course Spezza too though, he has to get his Dung together and soon. And, you're right, he should be the one getting guys going.
