i wish they would stop putting kadri on the pp he cannot hit a one timer most of the rest of the team would have had 2 good chances if not goals

From the first exhibition game, he hasn't looked good. That's why he wasn't playing.

I'm hoping it's because he is not completely over his surgery. He missed a lot of time, and when your body is still growing and you cannot work out while it's doing that, it can take a while to get back in real game shape. At least I'm hoping it's that.

He must have had a setback because Chiefs fans were saying he was skating very well post-surgery.

Yeah, unfortunately all his highlights seemed to be mistakes that ended up in the back of Canada's net. Ugh.

Very concerning that our "blue chip" defensive prospect is struggling in a tournament he should be dominating.

As an aside, how sick is that Swiss goalie Conz? Can that kid play or what?

Well, Hamonic is gone for the tourney with a separated shoulder, they may have no choice but to play Cowen now. Unless they play de Haan more.

Just a terrible hit from behind...you could see from the way that he hit the boards that his shoulder was separated.

Big loss and right before the Gold Medal game too... very sad.

McKenzie's saying he won't be surprised if McMillan goes back on "D" as he's thinking they are not too confidant about putting Cowen or de Haan in any more than they have already.

Anyone watching the US/SWE? Swedes are too fast it's amazing.
I don't regret Karlsson over Eberle at all, but I wouldn't have complained about Paajarvi over Cowen.
